Right now Rocksmith+ has a Tone Manager with 125+ preset tones (might actually be 150+ currently) that you can equip to use with a guitar or bass directly connected with a Real Tone Cable or an audio interface. Tones ranging from "Jazz Wah" to "UK Lux, Overdrive" to "Parlor Acoustic" to "Original Blues Tremolo" and much more. You can currently see the different gear that virtually makes up each tone but you can't yet customize and design your own tones. You'll definitely have access to the Tones with a subscription and actually access is even included in the Free Preview version of Rocksmith+ that's available without a subscription on all platforms. So you'd be able to download it and give it a try now if you wanted to.

It's unfortunately one of those songs where the availability varies by region. Currently it's available in the US & Canada, but we hope to continue to expand its availability to the rest of the world like we were recently able to do with our Metallica releases.

We always try to secure the original master recordings of songs when we can. So far we've been able to update our selection of Muse & Megadeth songs to the original master versions. We hope we'll be able to update the songs you find distracting soon as well.

Incidentally, those are also two places where you can check out other reviews for more thoughts on the product. If you sign up on mobile (and do the free trial) it will still allow you to use the same account to play on PC for the duration of the trial as we support cross-platform subscriptions.

read the reviews. many of the negative reviews don't even talk about the game. it's mostly review bombing by people that got angry because RS+ is not the sequel they wanted. you can decide if you want to sub or not but I'd advise to not decide based on steam reviews only.

@@rocksmithplus I did try it, also I did buy 1 month. Prices a little steep, just fyi. But I'm enjoying myself. No clue what these people are talking about it. Everything went fine and people are saying they got double charged? Didnt happen to me. All is well and game works. I get they are mad about the subscription based game. I agree with that. Maybe you can grt the prices down to help? Anyway good game I'm just starting to learn guitar and piano so it's working as intended. Thank you.

The game is being heavily review bombed by people who want to pay as little as possible and pirate everything else. I recommend that you try it yourself. There's a 7 day free trial, you can sub for a month, or you can do the free to play version that only has a handful of songs. Most of the people who would review it positively have been playing on Ubisoft Connect for a year-and-a-half and can't review it on Steam since they don't own it there.

Connecting your digital piano or keyboard is as easy as connecting with a USB cable for a MIDI connection and plugging it into the USB ports on the PS5. The kind of output port will vary depending on your instrument but are commonly USB-B, micro-USB, or USB-C. You can also use a 5-pin MIDI output if the cable adapts it to USB or if you have the necessary adapter. If you're playing on an acoustic piano or don't have the right cables on your keyboard you can download the Rocksmith Tuner app and connect to Rocksmith+ to use your phone as a microphone to detect your playing using the natural piano sound or the keyboard speakers. If your keyboard has a 1/4" output jack you can also use the Real Tone Cable to connect to your PS5 via USB but it'll be an experience similar to using a microphone instead of a MIDI connection.

It is great I just wish on the piano it will show the piano chord names on the screen just like it does the guitar so it will be better for people to learn the piano keys better

People forget where RS was when it first launched years ago. Whenever you overhaul a platform, there’s gonna be people whining that the old variant is better. Granted RS+ was serious underbaked and lacking content at the start. They probably should have kept it as a beta for a full year before launching officially. People got overhyped assuming it would be just like RS14 because Ubisoft pumped it so much that people had the wrong impression of what it would be out of the gate. Had they left it in beta for much longer, lots of issues would have been squashed, more feedback would have been collected, and less people would have been disappointed overall because they wouldn’t have felt like they were paying a lot of money for expensive beta software. I was not complaining out of the gate like most people. I’ve beta tested software/hardware as a hobby for 26.5 years and know all fresh launches will have growing pains even when beta comes to a close. My only complaint is that they bumped the price up for everyone. Early adopters who paid within the first 1-3 months for a full year upfront should be allowed to keep the same $99 price for life - that would be fair for those of us who endured the growing pains and had faith that Ubisoft would get this together little by little.

The subscription base I guess in a way helps the. Get master recordings into the game m, such as the Metallica tracks that were released. Yea it may be costly, but honestly with bug song drops each month, it can be worth it. My thought on it is I want to be able to make a living playing music. This gets me playing in a fun way although I miss session mode and mini games. Anytime we play guitar honestly we get better than we were before you played that day.

I see I see. Btw do any of you guys know why i can't purchase a subscription through the store on PS5 🤔. Keeps saying error try again in a few minutes. I was thinking maybe just purchase the subscription through the mobile app, but idk if it carries over or not. Any help would be appreciated!

@@NihonNoMajin it seems people say buying the sub from the mobile app works best. the same sub works for mobile, PlayStation and PC (I've been playing on PC and PS5)

You should be able to connect using a USB MIDI cable directly to your PS5 if you have a digital piano or keyboard. If you're using an acoustic piano or the speakers on your keyboard you can use the Rocksmith Tuner app and pair it to Rocksmith+ on PS5.

Seems like we have everything except Fury Of The Storm, but at least we have Through The Fire and Flames and 4 or 5 others. Hopefully Fury Of The Storm is coming at some point

i'd vote for valley because it's the first song, and starfire mainly because of the piano, and also: spirit, fury, fields, maybe soldiers revolution, storming, operation heroes, reasons, journey, freedom
